Northern Ohio Railway Museum is located in northeast Ohio. It is situated on 63 acres in the beautiful Chippewa Valley, minutes from Interstate highways I-71 and I-76 and United States highway 224. It is approximately 45 minutes from Cleveland, 30 minutes from Akron and 90 minutes from Columbus. The Museum is located in Westfield Township, Medina County, Ohio, between Chippewa Lake and Seville.

From I-71, exit at Exit 209B, U.S. Highway 224, West Lodi. Proceed to the traffic light and be in the right lane. At the traffic light, turn right (north) onto Lake Road. Take Lake Road (north) 6/10 of a mile (1 kilometer) to Buffham Road. This is a 4-way intersection with only Buffham road having stop signs. Turn right (east) on Buffham and go 1 mile (1.6 kilometer). The museum will then be on your left. A sign near the entrance announces the Museum. Welcome.

From I-76 westbound, continue driving straight until I-76 ends. You are now transitioning to U.S. Highway 224 westbound. At the traffic light, be in the right lane and turn right (north) onto Lake Road. Take Lake Road (north) 6/10 of a mile (1 kilometer) to Buffham Road. This is a 4-way intersection with only Buffham road having stop signs. Turn right (east) on Buffham and go 1 mile (1.6 kilometer). The museum will then be on your left. From U.S Highway 224 eastbound, you will come to a traffic light at the bottom of a gentle hill. Be in the left lane and turn left (North) onto Lake Road. Take Lake Road (north) 6/10 of a mile (1 kilometer) to Buffham Road. This is a 4-way intersection with only Buffham road having stop signs. Turn right (east) on Buffham and go 1 mile (1.6 kilometer). The museum will then be on your left. A sign near the entrance announces the Museum. Welcome.
