Spring has arrived in Seville, and the Northern Ohio Railway Museum is humming with activity as we prepare for our grand opening on Saturday, May 23rd. Our volunteers are hard at work in the restoration shop, polishing brass and prepping the rails to bring you an authentic 2026 family adventure. Whether you’re a local history buff or looking for a unique weekend outing, mark your calendars, the sights and sounds of Ohio’s electric railway heritage are returning to the tracks soon!


Located just a short drive from Medina Square, we are the favorite weekend destination for families in Brunswick, Wadsworth, and Wooster. Come see why we are considered the Region’s most unique living-history experience.

Field Trips for Homeschool Groups
Bring your imagination to life at the Northern Ohio Railway Museum. We offer specialized, private tours for homeschooling groups, providing a hands-on look at the science and history of electric transit. Media Morning
The History of the N.O.T. & L. Interurban
Join us at Hinckley Township Hall on Saturday, May 2 for our final Media Morning before the 2026 season begins. Allen Pfenninger will share an in-depth presentation on the history of the Northern Ohio Traction & Light interurban system. This network once provided vital transportation throughout our region. You can learn about the impact of these electric railways on Ohio’s development.

All Aboard for Trolley Rides!
Join us for our 2026 season opener in Seville on Saturday, May 23. You can enjoy an authentic journey on a restored vintage trolley through our scenic grounds. Our historic electric railway offers a hands-on look at how people traveled a century ago.
Our conductors and volunteers will be on hand to share stories about Ohio’s railway heritage. A full day of living history awaits.

Support LOCAL HISTORY
All aboard for a vintage train ride through history this summer!
Cruise on beautifully restored trolleys or rapid transit cars on select Saturdays, May–September. Departures every 30 minutes (11 AM–3:30 PM). Let our electric streetcars and knowledgeable conductors whisk you back in time. Perfect for families, history buffs, and curious adventurers. Tickets available on-site. Climb aboard before this season rolls away!
