All Aboard Our New Discovery Track for Kids!
Created for young visitors and their families, the Discovery Track is a shaded outdoor space where kids can play, explore, and discover how transportation has changed over the past century.
Children can enjoy our train play area and coloring station, while visitors of all ages can examine historic artifacts and try a working vintage trolley farebox. Activities may vary throughout the season, but the train tables are always ready for play.
The Discovery Track is open on regular Operating Days and is included with museum admission.

All aboard for a train ride through history this summer!
Take a trip on preserved interurban and rapid transit cars on select Saturdays, May through October. Departures run every 30 minutes from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, hosted by volunteer conductors who bring the story of electric railways to life.
Tickets are available on-site. Climb aboard before this season rolls away!
