On-Site Learning Experiences
- Streetcar Rides & Tours: Your museum ticket is a passport to the past! Hop on a historic streetcar and let our conductors whisk you through time with tales of Ohio’s electric railways. Volunteer docent led tours showcase streetcars from 1895 to 1970 vintage Rapid Transit vehicles.
- Scout Programs: We can help your scout group earn their Railroading Badge. Along with aligned activities, we also offer Operation Lifesaver safety presentations.
Rail Safety & Community Programs
- Operation Lifesaver: Our Ohio Operation Lifesaver Authorized Volunteers provide safety presentations for schools, scouts, and adult groups. Contact the museum for availability information.
- Media Mornings: Held on select Saturdays (March, May, August, November, and December), these free public events feature trolley/transit-themed presentations (slides, videos, or films) at Hinckley Township Hall (1410 Ridge Rd.). Doors open at 9:30 AM.
- Presentations are also available about the Museum, Trolleys and all other forms of electric railroading for civic and other community organizations.
