The public may ride a historic electric streetcar (trolley or rapid transit car) on the museum’s demonstration track on select Saturdays during the season. This year’s operating dates are:

Electric rail cars depart at 11:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 12:30 PM, 1:00 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:00 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM, weather permitting.

Note: The museum is only open on these operating Saturdays, and the regular season concludes on September 27, 2025.
Wheel Chair Access
For visitors with mobility issues, a wheelchair lift is available for access to Car 109, a 1954 rapid transit car built for the Cleveland Transit System.

Museum Walking Tours
Museum grounds are open to the public on Saturdays, from Saturday, May 24th through Saturday, September 27th, from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. Guided tours will be conducted every hour on the half hour starting at 10:30 A.M. and running through 3:30 P.M. Tours are conducted by trained volunteer docents knowledgeable on our trolley heritage.
THE TROLLEY film
For viewing, on an hourly basis, is the 46-minute film THE TROLLEY. Originally produced for IMAX screens, it is shown here in large screen HD video. We are the only place you can see this film in Ohio. It is a cinematic experience not to be missed.
