For example, an upcoming talk is for the Heights Home Tour https://shakerlakes.org/event/historic-homes-tour-2/ hosted by the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes https://shakerlakes.org/ . The subject of this presentation is the Shaker Heights Rapid Transit. A transit line that truly built a community from scratch! The Museum will be sharing the fascinating history of this trolley line, imagined by two real estate innovators, that today is a light rail line.
